Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four alarms, four disturbances, three suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two lost properties, an ambulance assist, a shoplifting, a careless driver, a 911 hang up call, a malicious mischief and a burglary at Harris Drive.
Oxford police investigated two wrecks, issued 27 traffic citations and made four arrests on the following charges:
No seatbelt and no driver’s license
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Disturbing the peace
Shoplifting
University police investigated nine vehicle stops and a report of a suspicious person at Lamar Hall.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Four alarms at 12:06 p.m., 10:15 p.m., 1.47 a.m. and 5:31 a.m. (both on Wednesday morning) caused by water flow alarm activation at Winchester
