According to co-owner, Hiram Eastland III, it is best described as a, “1973 Retro Travel Trailer that has been converted into a unique photo booth.”

Oxford PhotoBomb is available to be booked for events such as weddings, parties, corporate events, student organized functions, etc. But that’s not it! When it is not booked for an event, you can also find the Oxford PhotoBomb set up on the square across from Funky’s on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. The photos cost only $5 per print for a high quality 4×6 photo, and Oxford PhotoBomb allows all of their customers to download their pictures for FREE from their Facebook page. If you’re looking for a way to change up your Instagram profile, be sure to check out Oxford PhotoBomb’s unique set up!

The traveling photo booth trailer actually came from Nashville, Tennessee, and was originally called “Nashville PhotoBoot.” Hiram partnered up with Jeff Crow, a good friend from high school, and brought the trailer down to Oxford this past summer. “Jeff is a professional musician in Nashville and started Nashville Photoboot for a side business. In March Jeff joined Sturgill Simpson’s band as the keyboard player and they are on a big tour. So, he couldn’t run Nashville Photoboot anymore. I saw a great opportunity to bring something really cool and new to Oxford, so we partnered up and brought the trailer to Oxford.” Hiram said. “Jeff played Bonaroo with Sturgill on a Saturday in late June and met me in Jackson, Tennessee the next day with the trailer so I could bring it to Oxford.”

This past Thursday marked Oxford PhotoBomb’s fifth week on the square, but according to Hiram, business has been great. “It’s a lot of fun. When people get in here they want to stay. Everyone has a great time.” Hiram said. You can find Oxford PhotoBomb on the square across from Funky’s in the driveway of Jones At Home alongside the YoknapaTaco Taco Truck on any given Thursday, Friday, or Saturday starting at about 9 p.m..

The inside of the camper is hung with blue and white Christmas lights, and the entire inside is completely covered with posters and records. For ballgame weekends, the PhotoBomb has plenty of Ole Miss themed props. According to Hiram, “I’m not sure if we’ve grasped the full potential of this business, but we’re getting there. We’re making people smile, and that’s what it’s all about.” Oxford PhotoBomb gives back to the community whenever they get the opportunity. They have already done events for the Leapfrog Firecracker Bash, the Oxford Charger Booster Club, and will be at the LOFT Fundraiser on October 9th. Whenever they participate in events such as these, all of their proceeds go towards the specific charity.

Oxford PhotoBomb’s atmosphere is something that is completely new to Oxford, and is without a doubt a guaranteed good time. They’d like to eventually expand by adding more trailers and by taking their brand to other cities, but for now, we sure are lucky to get to be one of the first cities to have this experience. As their slogan goes, “Make Your Event Explosive” with Oxford PhotoBomb!
