Provision Oxford Brings Luxurious Home Furnishings to Town
Looking for a great place to find home décor in Oxford?
Provision Oxford, located at 1611 University Avenue, specializes in furniture, accessories, textiles, original art, tabletop, jewelry, personal care and more.
The store also offers interior design services and has recently added a bridal registry. While carrying many highly regarded national brands, they also work closely with artisans who have ties to Oxford and Ole Miss.
Doug Self, an Ole Miss alum and Mississippi native, founded Provision Oxford and opened it in October, 2013. Doug also owns to-the-trade showrooms and a sales agency in Atlanta and High Point, North Carolina, specializing in home decor.
“To give back to Oxford and Ole Miss, both of which have given me so much, is the push for this new venture,” Self said. “I would not be where I am professionally without the influence of the experiences and people I encountered during my four years in Oxford.”
During SEC game weekends this season, Provision Oxford will be offering “Fridays This Fall,” where you will have a chance to meet and learn from some of the South’s leading designers.
The series kicks off Friday, September 25, with John Grady Burns, one of the South’s leading experts on all things floral.
Other designers participating in “Fridays This Fall” are Gena Knox (Founder of Fire & Flavor and Southern food aficionado), Clint Smith (Editor of Veranda), Gresham Hodges (Gresham Jewelry), Barbara Westbrook (Acclaimed Atlanta Interior Designer), Taylor Miller (Hazen Jewelry) and Elizabeth Wise Hannon (L&L Fine Jewelry).
The store is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday afternoon during football season. You can also follow Provision on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
