Sarah Doty and Jamie Sproles both received their letters of admission to Ole Miss this week and celebrated with the fins up on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC.
Both are members of the Mississippi Youth Council, a 10-member group that advocates for the education and access to comprehensive health services for youth. They joined students from around the country in Washington DC to learn effective lobbying and advocacy techniques. The group finished their trip by meeting with the Mississippi Congressional Delegation.
