Chick-fil-A to Host ‘Touch a Truck’ Event Tuesday Evening
Chick-fil-A West Jackson Avenue’s team members will host the “Touch a Truck” event on Tuesday, Sept, 22, in honor of our local heroes, the Oxford Fire Department, Oxford Police Station, and EMTs.
Everyone is invited to the event, which will be held at Chick-fil-A West Jackson Avenue, to meet the local heroes who display courage everyday.
During the event, the police officers and fire department will face off in the “Battle of the Badges” lemon-squeezing contest, which will start at 6:30pm. In addition to the contest, 15% of all frosted lemonade sales for the week will go to the winning team’s charity of choice! There will also be face painting available and families will be able to sign up for Chick-fil-A Kids Club.
Lance Reed is the Owner Operator of the local Chick-fil-A.
“It is our pleasure to serve those who serve us year round. We hope the community comes out to support our local police officers and fire department on Tuesday night,” said Reed.
