On Monday morning coach Hugh Freeze met with the local media after a big win against Alabama on Saturday night by the score of 43-37.

Coach Freeze stated that he was pleased with how the team responded in the environment they were in during the game. The offense did not allow any turnovers against Alabama’s defense and had seven explosive plays during the game.

“I told someone before the game the team that won the turnover battle and had the most explosive plays would win the game that turned out to be pretty accurate,” said Freeze.

Freeze said that he was really pleased with the confidence that he felt coming from the offense guys on the sidelines. Throughout the first three games of the season Ole Miss is averaging 64 points per game.

The Ole Miss defense players like Robert Nkemdiche, Mike Hilton and others played a total of eighty plays against the Crimson Tide on a very humid night in Tuscaloosa.

Junior Tony Conner will miss at least four weeks after tearing a torn meniscus in his right knee against Alabama. He will undergo surgery on Tuesday.

This week will be a good week for Ole Miss to wrecht some things up going into the second SEC game of the season as Vanderbilt rolls into town on Saturday night.
