The Ole Miss volleyball team returns to action on Wednesday night as they host Lipsomb University at 6:30 p.m.

Ole Miss enters the match with a record of 10-1 on the season. The Rebels won the Rebel Classic by beating Buffalo, Belmont and in-state rival Southern Mississippi over the weekend.

On Monday, Coach Steven McRoberts addressed the media and said that “Lipscomb is going to be the best non-conference team that will come into our gym. They made the NCAA tournament last year; they received an at-large bid. They have some good wins this year; they probably have about 10 wins and have a top-50 RPI type program.”

During the Rebel Classic freshman Alexis Lee came in against Southern Miss and played a bigger role from being used as just a spot player and did a great job McRoberts said. Along with Nakeyta Clair was on the all-tournament team, hitting over .500 for the weekend. Her senior year is going well. Aubrey Edie was the tournament MVP for the second week in a row. She has been making good decisions.

The Lipscomb Bison rolls into Oxford with a 5-4 record on the season. Over the weekend, Lipsomb dropped all three matches in the Bluejay Invite in Omaha, Nebraska.

Lipsomb is lead on the court by Jewell Dobson with 110 kills on the season with 7 digs and a total of 28 total blocks on the year.

This weekend the Rebels travel to Birmingham, Alabama to take part in the UAB Tournament.
