Volunteer Judges Needed for Charger Challenge Invitational Speech and Debate Tournament
The 2015 Oxford High School Speech and Debate Team will host the inaugural Charger Challenge Invitational Speech and Debate Tournament Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, at Oxford High School.
School officials are looking for volunteers in the Lafayette-Oxford-University community to serve as tournament judges. Volunteer judges are tasked with engaging school students in debate and discussion about contemporary issues, while providing honest feedback about the students’ tournament performance.
Students will perform in Original Oratory, Extemporaneous Speaking, Duo Interpretation, Prose and Poetry Interpretation, as well as other speech events.
