Greenline Salad Shop to Open on the Square
Greenline is a green, affordable option brought to you by the guys who created the Oxford sensation South Depot Taco Shop.
Greenline will open this month next door to South Depot Taco Shop on the Square.
Greenline is a fast, casual salad shop offering salads, wraps, and soups made with the freshest ingredients. “Greenline was inspired by similar concepts around the U.S. and will offer customers an opportunity to grab a quick, healthy meal at an affordable price,” explained owner Wilson Hood.
In addition to several signature salads, Greenline will offer customers an opportunity to create their own salad or wrap from a variety of different greens, vegetables, fruits, proteins and dressings.
Wilson Hood and Trey Horne are no strangers to Oxford and Ole Miss; they both graduated from Ole Miss in 2006. Hood and Horne moved to Atlanta after college, and were inspired to open South Depot in Oxford.
“The whole idea of South Depot Taco Shop came from some of our favorite local tex-mex spots in Atlanta,” said Hood. We thought a similar concept would work well in Oxford, and when the space on the Square came available, we jumped on it!”
“It has been a great first few years, and we’ve been so blessed to have so much support from the Oxford community.”
