Freeze Discusses Preparation for Alabama Crimson Tide
This Saturday Ole Miss will begin its SEC journey against its longtime toughest opponent: Alabama Crimson Tide.
Head coach Hugh Freeze updated the press on the team’s well-being, especially on Robert Conyers and Tee Shepard. He said that Tee Shepard will have to sit out of the first half of the game in the locker room before playing in the second half against Alabama this weekend. This is due to the referees penalizing Shepard for targeting at last Saturday’s game against Fresno State Bulldogs.
Head coach Hugh Freeze also praised Chad Kelly. He said that Kelly studies more film than even Freeze himself and it shows in his performance.
Freeze acknowledged that Alabama has a really strong front, especially its running back Derrick Henry. However the team will be ready as the coaches will simulate the volume of Bryant-Denny stadium in this week’s practice.
