Ten Teams from SEC are in AP-Top 25 Poll
In the Associated Press Top 25 poll that was released after the first weekend of college football. The Southeastern Conference has ten teams in this week.
Out of the ten teams from the SEC all seven from the West and three from East. Over the first weekend, the SEC had games against the BigTen and the Pac-12 where Alabama and Texas A&M both proved to be dominant against Wisconsin and Arizona State respectively.
Ole Miss had one of the biggest wins over the weekend as they railed off a total of 76 points against the UT Martin Skyhawks.
With Alabama leading the way for the conference at number two in the poll, followed at number six by Auburn, then Georgia at ten, LSU at 14, numbers 16-18 are anchored by Texas A&M, Ole Miss and Arkansas respectively. The Missouri Tigers come in at number 21, followed close behind by Tennessee at 23 and Mississippi State rounds out the top 25.
TCU dropped one spot to third in the poll after beating Minnesota by the score of 23-17 last Thursday evening.
