Oxford Crime Report: Wednesday, September 2
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five suspicious activities, three ambulance assists, three alarms, two noise violations, a lost property, a careless driver, a malicious mischief, a petit larceny, a disturbance, and an auto burglary at Panera.
Oxford police investigated 11 wrecks, issued 63 traffic citations and made 17 arrests on the following charges:

Ran a stop sign and a fake ID
Minor in possession of alcohol

Careless driver and minor in possession of alcohol
No seatbelt, fake ID and minor in possession of alcohol
Speeding, no car insurance and suspended driver’s license
Warrant served, no seatbelt and suspended driver’s license
Possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Schedule IV narcotics
University police responded to the following incidents: two petit larcenies at Student Union and Lewis Hall, a report of stalking, an intoxicated person at J.D. Williams Library, a disorderly person at Kincannon Hall, a vehicle stop on Rebel Drive, a vehicle accident in the Kudzu lot, and a traffic detail on Hathorn Road.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls: a cancelled call at 2:25 p.m. 409 Country Club Road.
