The Ole Miss soccer team returns to action this weekend hosting two matches at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium. Friday, the Rebels will take on No. 19 Central Florida at 7 p.m.

Ole Miss will take the pitch with a unblemished record on the season as Coach Matt Mott squad is 3-0-1 on the season. The Rebels have only allowed one goal through during  the first four games of the season — the lowest amount surrendered since the start of 2011.

The Rebels are led on the field by CeCe Kizer and Addie Forbus, who have combined to score seven of the team’s 12 goals on the season thus far.

Central Florida rolls into Oxford with a 3-1 record. The Knights have senior Ashley Spivey, sophomore Saga Fredriksson and Jessica Taylor returning to a relatively new team this season.

UCF is currently sitting at No. 19 in the Top Drawer Soccer rankings with a 3-1-0 on the year and have not dropped a contest since its opening match against No. 8 Florida.

This match makes the Rebels’  first against a ranked opponent this season.

The Rebels will wrap up their seven-game homestand next weekend. After facing UCF and Arkansas-Little Rock this weekend, Ole Miss will take the home pitch for conference play.

The Rebels square off against Kentucky on Friday, September 11, at 6 p.m., followed by Louisville on Sunday at 12 p.m. Friday’s game will broadcast on the SEC Network, while the match on Sunday can be seen on SEC Network+.

Fans can watch both of the Rebel matches on SEC Network+ as Richard Cross and Ian Banner will have the call.
