We all have our favorite pizza company on speed dial preparing ourselves for the moment the late night cravings attack, but have you ever had the craving that only a homemade ooey gooey cookie could fix?

Insomnia Cookies, a unique late-night bakery chain based in New York City, is scheduled to open on the Square around September 15. The bakery will be located at 303 South Lamar Boulevard, and store hours will be 11a.m. to  3a.m, delivering from noon until close.

Tracie Kurtz, marketing manager at Insomnia Cookies, said, “We specialize in delivering warm, delicious cookies right to the doors of individuals and companies alike from noon until 3am, daily.”

Talk about a dream come true! Not only do they deliver warm delicious cookies, they also have brownies, cookie cakes, milk and even ice cream. These delectable treats are perfect for everyone.

“We have found that everyone loves a warm, delicious cookie. Warm cookie deliveries make the perfect gifts, mid-day pick me ups for the office or even work as late night fuel,” says Kurtz. “Delivery runs all day long until 3 a.m. making us the perfect late night study snack for college students as well.”

Go big or go home. Insomnia Cookies has so many wonderful options and flavors to choose from on their menu, but their best seller is called the “Bigwich.”

Kurtz says, “We recently launched our “Bigwich” menu addition; customers can create their own cookie sandwich comprised of two traditional cookies with icing in between them- it’s been a huge hit.”

Insomnia Cookies is rapidly expanding in their bakery business with offices in Philadelphia and New York. Seth Berkowitz founded the company in a college dorm room in 2003 at the University of Pennsylvania.

“Insomnia Cookies has been feeding the insatiable hunger of our fans ever since,” says Kurtz. “We thrive in cities with large, active communities, and with Ole Miss being located in Oxford it was a no-brainer.”
