University of Mississippi Ranks High on Tinder for Good Looking Students
The sassy line, “All the good looking people go to Ole Miss” rings true with Tinder’s list of campuses whose students are “most swiped right.”
In Tinder terms, that phrase “most swiped right” is in reference to the app’s function. If a Tinder user wants to see a person among matches provided by the app, that user swipes right on the person’s profile. If not, the user swipes left.
Yesterday, the app ranked universities based on the ratio of right swipes received by students ages 18 to 23 at said universities this past spring.
The University of Mississippi is the only university whose male and female students ranked in Tinder’s Top 10 Most Swiped Right lists. Ole Miss ladies came in third behind University of Miami and Florida State University. Ole Miss gentlemen came in ninth after Dartmouth, Georgetown and Yale.
Tinder reports that SEC schools lead with five schools in the top 25 lists for most swiped right female students. For more statistics, visit the Tinder blog.
