Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three alarms, three ambulance assists, three motorist assists, three civil matters, two welfare concerns, a report of a careless driver, a disturbance, a loud party, a simple assault, an animal complaint, an identity theft, a trespassing, an improper parking, a suspicious activity, and a report of a subject begging.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks and made four arrests on the following charges:
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- public drunk
- warrant served
- careless driving
- DUI to first degree
University police responded to the following incidents: 10 vehicle stops.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls: a fire alarm at 7:19 a.m. caused by workers at High Cotton Condos, a fire alarm malfunction at 9:51 a.m. at High Cotton Condos, a duct detector alarm activated at 3:50 p.m. by the alarm company installing at South End Zone, and a smoke detector activated at 6:21 p.m. by cooking at Highland Place.
