Oxford Outdoor Markets Open for Business This Weekend
The Oxford Flea and Oxford Maker’s Market both postponed their appearance during the July 4 weekend to this weekend where they will be joining Mid-Town Farmers Market.
This Saturday, the Oxford Flea will be open in the HottyToddy.com parking lot at the corner of Molly Barr Road and Jackson Avenue from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Its map of vendors in the lot can be viewed here. There are three food vendors among 24 vendors. There will be plenty of merchandises to browse through. LLH De-signs by Linda Houston featuring French and country vinyl with painted signage, wall decals, decorative cheese boxes and decoupage items. RubyZane by Shari Whitehead-Sullivan will have one-of-a-kind outdoor furnishing with new and revamped furniture, swings, patio daybeds, beach chairs, and much more.

The Oxford Maker’s Market postponed due to the rain. This Saturday it will be on the Courthouse lawn from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 20 vendors there include Oxonian photography and prints by Amanda Carper, paintings by the J-MAN (Jason Heavner) and wire wrapped jewelry by Corienne Bruner of Wired Whymsy. Mid-Town Farmers’ Market will be just off the North Lamar at the Mid-Town Shopping Center from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wally Hall will play live music there from around 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. There will be 11 vendors featuring all sorts of good foods. Sonya’s Baked Goods will have a variety of cookies, caramel cake, key lime cake, sock it to me pound cake and root beer cake.
