American Idol at University of Mississippi Draws Hundreds of Auditioners

The American Idol bus pulled into Oxford as its last stop at the University of Mississippi for the auditions today.

The rainy morning on the last June’s day did not deter the auditioners from attending the American Idol tryouts at the Union. Lines of over a thousand people stretched out of the university campus.

The auditions are ongoing until 5 p.m. for the 15th and final season of the American Idol. We visited with some of the early bird auditioners on campus. Take a look at our video – maybe you’ll see a rising star’s first appearance there!
