City of Oxford Changes Trash Pickup Times for Summer
Due to the extreme heat risking the safety of the city sanitation employees, the City of Oxford is adding an additional garbage truck to the routes in an effort to get the workers out of the extreme heat earlier in the day.
This will continue throughout the summer.
The addition of the truck will directly impact pick-up times, as the trucks will be running earlier than normal routine.
To ensure your garbage is picked up, have all items at the curb by 6 a.m.
Trash pickup schedule
For City of Oxford residents who live north of Jackson Avenue, north of Hwy 6 West and the Rivers Hill area, garbage will be collected on Monday and Thursday.
For City of Oxford residents who live south of Jackson Avenue and south of Hwy 6 West, garbage will be collected on Tuesday and Friday.

Does this impact Wellsgate? I don’t know if ours is picked up by the City of Oxford or not. Does anyone know when Wellsgate Eastside will be picked up?
