Oxford Real Estate Opportunities: Galleria II Is Getting Close
Trezevant Realty’s newest and exciting retail development located on Oxford’s booming west side near Home Depot is now only days away from the start of construction.
Oxford Galleria II LLC, a 21-acre development, is a partnership between Trezevant Realty Corporation and the James E. Davis Family Trust. The new retail center will consist of 220,000 square feet of high-end shops, restaurants and specialty stores.
Already signed up are Dick’s Sporting Goods (35,000 square feet), Marshall’s (20,000 square feet), Ulta Cosmetic (10,000 square feet), Five Below (8,000 square feet) and Shoe Carnival (10,000 square feet) occupying the larger sites. SportClips has also committed along with Coyote Blue, one of the four restaurants planned. Coyote Blue features Tex-Mex Cajun cuisine and will occupy space in one of the outparcel end-caps including large outdoor seating and entertainment. An additional national restaurant will be at the opposite end of the patio, located on the end-cap of an additional outparcel building that will be announced in the near future.
The tentative opening for Galleria II is forecast for March-April 2016. The new center is almost completely full as of now with several small bays remaining for outparcels. In addition, there is one large department store pad left which could vary between 20,000 and 38,000 square feet.
Taylor Trezevant is the director of leasing and should be contacted for information regarding the available space remaining. He can be reached at 901-409-6884 and TaylorTrezevant@TrezevantRealty.com.
The developers are anticipating that the entire project will be fully leased by its grand opening in 2016. With the track record of prior success by the Trezevant Realty group coupled with Oxford’s increasing demand, it’s easy to understand the optimistic outlook!
Trezevant previously developed Oxford Market Place in 2004 which included Walmart plus 100,000 square feet of shops and restaurants including Chili’s, Zaxby’s and Dollar Tree. This successful venture was followed by Oxford Galleria I in 2009 which featured Belk, Hibbett, LOFT, Kinnucan’s, Newk’s, Rackroom, Rue 21 and Chick Fil A.
The Trezevant development office in Oxford is located on West Oxford Loop at Anderson Road. Adjacent is a series of 75,000 square feet of free-standing buildings for sale or lease.
