Parents looking for a safe, fun and educational outlet for children in a Christian environment will be welcome to send their children to Vacation Bible School next week at Stone Park.

The Orchard, Burns United Methodist Church and Oxford Community Church are teaming up to hold a big, four-day blowout for ages 4 through fifth grade that will include games, stories, music, crafts and a family cookout.

“All three churches have a desire to connect with people who aren’t involved with a church, and we wanted to create something bigger than any one church could put on,” said VBS co-planner Pat Ward. “We want to provide kids with a fun atmosphere where they can learn about Jesus and give them a chance to meet other children their age, too.”

Vacation Bible School will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and will conclude with a family cookout Thursday evening.

Parents are asked to register their children for the event. For more information or to register your children, visit www.TheOrchardOxford.net/vbs-2015 or call 259-0094.
