Mykalia Jamison – Malicious Mischief
On Tuesday, June 9, the Oxford police department responded to a disturbance call at the Park Condominiums. After an investigation, Mykalia Jamison, 24 of Holly Springs, was arrested for Felony Malicious Mischief after she cut the tires on a car and hit the car with a tire tool. The amount of damage was greater than $1,000. Jamison was given a bond of $2,500.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four suspicious activities, three malicious mischief, two disturbances, two alarms, two harassing phone calls, a scam, a careless driver, an improper parking, an animal complaint and a shoplifting.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 32 traffic citations and made five arrests on the following charges: (2) shoplifters; a speeding with a suspended driver’s license; a suspended driver’s license with no seatbelt; and a speeding with public consumption of alcohol.
University police responded to the following incidents: 10 vehicle stops.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls: a smoke detector activated by smoke at 10:52 a.m. from grilling outside Lenior Hall, and a cancelled call at 11:12 a.m at Alpha Tau Omega house.
