UM Outreach Hosts Rebel Quest 2.0 with Summer Fun for Lil’ Rebels
School is out for summer, but the University of Mississippi Division of Outreach and Continuing Education has some great plans for the local youngsters.
Rebel Quest 2.0 is a summer day camp for children ages 6-13 divided into seven one-week sessions, each with a different theme. The sessions are broken into two age groups: rising first through fourth graders and rising fifth through seventh graders.
This summer’s themes include a wide range of topics, including Mad Scientist Week, All About Oxford Week, It’s a Small World After All Week and Ready, Set, Write! Week. The camp is under new lead teachers this summer with Joanne Bagley McGehee and Katie Naron.
Sessions are held on the Ole Miss campus and led by highly qualified University and community instructors. Each week stands alone for registration purposes. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants per session for each day camp program.
