The Ole Miss baseball team enters the 2015 Southeastern Conference baseball tournament in Hoover, Alabama, as the No 6 seed. The Rebels will open up the tournament against the No. 11 seed Alabama Crimson Tide on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.

Ole Miss (30-25, 15-14 SEC) comes into the tourney after splitting the series 1-1 against Texas A&M over the weekend.

Senior Sikes Orvis is currently ranked 10th all-time in Ole Miss history with 34 career home runs. His 16 home runs in 2015 are tied for the seventh-most in a single season.

Alabama (30-26, 12-18 SEC) comes in after dropping two of three to Vanderbilt, but the Tide is 7-3 over its last 10 games. The Crimson Tide is 7-11 in SEC play, winning the series over Georgia and Mississippi State. Junior Mikey White and sophomore Casey Hughston lead Alabama at the plate with averages of .341 and .332, respectively.

The Tide has played all of its home games this season at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium since work is being done to Alabama stadium.

On the mound, Alabama will go with sophomore Geoffrey Bramblett against the Rebels on Tuesday. The right-hander has a team-high seven wins to go along with a 4.13 ERA. Rebel coach Mike Bianco will call on the arm of senior Scott Weathersby in this single-elimination game.

This season, Ole Miss took two of three games from Alabama in Oxford.

The winner of the game will move on to the double-elimination round Wednesday to take on the No. 3 seed Texas A&M.

Fans that cannot make it  to Hoover for the tournament can watch all the action on SEC Network or listen to the call on the Ole Miss Radio Network.
