Oxford High School German Students Among the Best in the Nation

Oxford High School students who recently took the National German Exam are being recognized on a national scale. Twenty-four of the 37 German II, German III and AP German students placed above the 70th percentile on the national exam and by doing so, several OHS students are eligible to apply for a free trip to Germany this summer.
“This exam is taken every year by over 20,000 students all over the United States,” said Stefanie Beam, who teaches German at Oxford High School, “and Oxford High School is proud to be one of only two schools in Mississippi to participate.”
