Seventh Annual Ole Miss FCA Golf Scramble Tees Off May 18
Ole Miss Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host its seventh annual golf scramble with tee times at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., on Monday, May 18, 2015, at the Ole Miss Golf Course.
This year’s golf scramble is sponsored by Allen Samuels Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Oxford and will include various coaches and administrators from the athletics department. The scramble is a four-person format.
The purpose for the event is to introduce and inform friends about the FCA ministry at Ole Miss, hear from athletes and coaches how FCA has impacted their lives, and generate financial support for the Ole Miss FCA interns who assist efforts in reaching athletes and coaches at Ole Miss.
“We are excited with all of the great things taking place in and through our campus with coaches and athletes in reaching our city, state and in Haiti,” Ole Miss FCA director Todd Johnson said. “This scramble will assist in bringing on interns to further grow the efforts of FCA on the Ole Miss campus.”
Entry fees are $150 per player or $600 per foursome, and include lunch, greens fees, range balls, cart fees and a Nike Dry Fit Polo. The top four winning teams (top two gross and top two net winners) will advance to the FCA State Playoff at Old Waverly on Sept. 21, 2015. Prizes include four place prizes, a long drive and closest to pin.
