Oxford Crime Report: Tuesday, April 7
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four alarms, three welfare concerns, a suspicious activity, a noise complaint, a lost property, a trespassing and a harassment.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 43 traffic citations and made three arrests on the following charges: a public intoxication; a minor in possession of alcohol with possession of drug paraphernalia; and a minor in possession of alcohol and littering.
University police responded to the following incidents: two vehicle stops, a traffic detail on Chucky Mullins Drive, a burglary at Northgate Apartments, a report of harassment, a petit larceny at Turner Center, an accidental hit and run at Campus Walk Apartments, and a disturbance in the South Lot.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call:a smoke detector activated by a resident cooking in the first floor kitchen at Crosby Hall.
