The University of Mississippi has called a press conference for 2 p.m. today. Speculation is the press conference is related to contract negotiations for Chancellor Dan Jones.
A board source said, “There is no deal, it’s over.”
Sources close to the Board of Trustees of Institutions of Higher Learning said at noon today that no contract agreement has been finalized with Jones.
