Latoya Waters – Credit Card Fraud
On Friday, March 27, 2015, investigators of the Oxford police department charged Latoya Waters, 28 of Oxford, with one count of credit card fraud. Her arrest came after discovery of video evidence of her using a stolen credit card. Her bond was set at $2,500 but a hold has been placed on her for a parole violation by Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six alarms, five suspicious activities, two disturbances, a noise violation, an improper parking, a fraud, a simple assault, a lost property, a harassment, a welfare concern, a malicious mischief, a code violation, an animal complaint, a civil matter, a 911 hang up call, and a petit larceny.
Oxford police investigated two wrecks, issued 27 traffic citations and made two arrests: public intoxication and shoplifting.
University police responded to the following incidents: five vehicle stops, an intoxicated person with possession of fake ID at Stockard Hall, a vandalism at Kincannon Hall, and a motor vehicle accident at Ford Center.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: multiple alarm activation with no cause discovered at the Delta Gamma house.
