Turn Your Graduation Party up in Style
Graduation parties are fast approaching and in great numbers. Though you may be planning your own graduate’s party, it seems like the invites for your close-knit friends, family and neighbors are endless. One way to make your party stand out from others is by hiring a unique caterer to spice things up.
Whether it’s your first born or the fifth baby of the family’s graduation, recognition should be given in an immaculate way. You deserve the rights to brag on your child and his or her accomplishments.
The Main Event Catering, part of John Currence’s City Grocery Group umbrella, focuses their attention on the client’s needs.
“We are an entirely custom catering outfit. We cater to any event we are asked,” special events and office manager Elizabeth Tettleton said. “We care about each individual event and respond to all client needs and desires. We strive to go above and beyond to make every event as special as possible.”
My Michelle’s owner Michelle Rounsaville loves to be part of the event and help her clients achieve their dream party.
“Graduation reminds me of the same thing weddings remind me of. We like to sit down with the client or whoever the party is honoring and ask them what their favorite item is,” Rounsaville said. “We might put our own spin on it, but we like to cater to what the client likes. Whether it’s a bride and her mother discussing chicken pot pies to be had at the wedding over a cocktail hour or serving a breakfast themed graduation party, we like to turn those ideas into bite-size portions and give both parties exactly what everyone is asking for.”
Rounsaville went on to talk about how she loves turning main dishes into something easy to grab and snack on.
“One of our most popular items right now is our Mac and Cheese Cup,” said Michelle. “We use biscuit bowls and fill it with our homemade mac and cheese, add an egg to bind it all together and turn it into a cup. It’s really cute and fun. We are trying to focus on just keeping up with the trends and always coming up with fresh ideas of how to stage things, staying modern.”
Whatever you do, make it memorable for the honoree. Turn the party into a theme that everyone would enjoy, hire a good caterer and turn the music up. Graduating is an enormous accomplishment so enjoy and celebrate the moment.
