Rebels Tweet Reactions to IHL’s Decision Regarding Chancellor Dan Jones
Last Friday, the Mississippi Institute of Higher Learning board of trustees voted to not renew Chancellor Dan Jones’ contract. Even if the news was announced shortly before the weekend, Dr. Dan Jones’ supporters were not deterred from expressing their disapproval of the decision and their support of the chancellor on Twitter.
There are also Facebook groups, Reinstate Chancellor Jones and I Stand With Chancellor Jones, to connect those who want to fight for Jones to stay. Between these two, students arranged a calm protest in the Lyceum Circle at noon Wednesday.

I believe the Board made a huge mistake by not renewing the contract of Chancellor Dan Jones. He has an outstanding record. Please reconsider this decision.
Having known of some behind the scenes educational decisions (Not at Ole Miss), I would suggest that you look under a big rock, and you will find who is behind such a bad decision.
