Oxford Flea is a new outdoor flea market hosted by Liz and Benjy Foster. In less than two weeks 50 vendors all over north Mississippi signed up to sell.

“Emails and phone calls steadily streamed in with vendors wanting to be part of opening day,” said Liz. “We have a great mix of vendors with unique items from all over North Mississippi lined up.”

The Fosters say they’re excited to have an eclectic mix of vendors all in one spot within Oxford. The vendor list, available online, shows a preview of items for sale at the outdoor market from refurbished wooden furniture to handmade jewelry to Hawaiian shaved ice.

“I think this will be a great thing for Oxford tourism as well,” said Liz. “The event has raised a ton of interest from people outside of Oxford who I’m sure will stick around after the event to explore our wonderful town.”

The flea market will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in HottyToddy.com parking lot, located at the corner of Jackson Avenue and Molly Barr Road. If parking fills up, keep in mind that same lot is also accessible via the Oxford Depot Trail walkway if parked at the old train depot/Ford Center or the Oxford Activity Center.

The Fosters plan on hosting the outdoors flea market on the first Saturday of every month until October. There
