Schedule Announced For BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip
The schedule is set and tickets on sale for the 2015 BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip, Ole Miss’ fourth annual tour of the state and surrounding areas. Visit the website for tickets and full details of each event.
Headlined by Ole Miss head football coach Hugh Freeze and athletics director Ross Bjork, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip will feature 13 fan meetings across the region beginning Sunday, April 19 in Houston, Texas. Ole Miss basketball coaches Andy Kennedy (men’s) and Matt Insell (women’s) will also speak at select stops.
This year’s caravan reaches five states and three new destinations including Baton Rouge, Decatur and Greenwood. Other stops from April 19-24 include Birmingham, Nashville, Corinth, Tupelo, Southaven, Pascagoula and Oxford.
New this year, the Memphis and Jackson meetings will be held separate from the RRT week in April and are confirmed for July 14 and 16, respectively.
In addition to the speakers, the meetings include autograph opportunities, photo booths, official merchandise and an exciting video look at the University, including Rebel Athletics, the Athletics Foundation and the Alumni Association.
In its first three years, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip touched 29 markets and almost 12,000 fans. The inaugural tour served as public introductions for Freeze and Bjork and earned high praise for uniting the Ole Miss fanbase.
