Freeze Returns to Memphis with ‘More than a Game’ Message for Bellevue Baptist
Before making his way to Oxford, Hugh Freeze was a high school football and women’s basketball coach at Briarcrest Christian School in Memphis, molding the young student-athletes in the ways of athletics as well as the Lord.
Now, Freeze is about to begin his fourth year at the helm of the Ole Miss squad and still brings his religious enthusiasm and Christian ways of living to our boys in red and blue. On Sunday, Freeze was invited to speak at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis and delivered a moving message to the congregation.
Here’s a video of his speech, courtesy of Bellevue Baptist Church:

I knew Coach Freeze when my Grandson played for Briarcrest. He also spoke at David’s funeral. He’s a great man and David loved him.
