Oxford Garden Club Fundraiser Offers Variety of Crafty Vendors Thursday
The Oxford Garden Club is having their first biennial fundraiser event this Thursday, Feb. 19 at the Oxford Conference Center.
Beginning at 10 a.m., guests will have the opportunity to shop around a wide variety of vendors from outside the Oxford area. The many merchants will be selling everything from jewelry and antiques to homemade soaps and crafts.
Afterward, lunch will be served and “The Dynamic Duo” will take the stage. Peggy Snipes, a floral designer, and her daughter, Brantley Snipes, a landscape architect, will reveal their secrets to a beautiful home.
Chairman of the fundraiser, Dotsy Fitts, praised Peggy Snipes’ work around her own home.
“She has arrangements in her yard every day of the year, no matter what,” said Fitts.
For just $25, you could be part of one of the largest fundraisers for the Oxford Garden Club to date. All of the proceeds from the event will benefit St. Peter’s and Oxford Memorial Cemeteries to fund future landscaping.
Tickets are going fast. To reserve your spot, call Dotsy Fitts at (662) 801-7365.
