The Ole Miss Lady Rebels return to Tad Smith Coliseum tonight as they host the No. 6 ranked Tennessee Volunteers.
Ole Miss is looking to put a 58-54 heartbreaking loss to Vanderbilt behind them and bring a five-game losing streak to an end. The Rebels are 14-9 overall and 4-6 inside of Southeastern Conference play.
Senior Tia Faleru has recorded her ninth double-double of the season and 29 career double-double, which ranks sixth all-time at Ole Miss, after a game-high 23 points and 13 rebounds against the Commodores.
Tennessee rolls into Oxford riding a prefect 10-0 record in SEC play and 20-3 over all on the season. The Volunteers have three players scoring in double figures led by 12.7 points per game from Isabelle Harrison. Ariel Massengale and Cierra Burdick are also in double figures with 10.5 and 10.2 points per game, respectively.
As a club, UT is averaging 72.5 points per game, while not allowing opponents to score over 54.9 points a game.
Tonight will be the 50th meeting between the Vols and Rebels with Tennessee owning a commanding 42-7 advantage in the series. The last time Ole Miss defeated the Lady Volunteers in Oxford goes back to the 1995-96 season with a 78-72 win.
