Oxford Crime Report: Monday, February 9
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six alarms, three disturbances, three suspicious activities, two motorist assists, two larcenies, one animal complaint and one code enforcement complaint.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 28 traffic citations and made four arrests on the following charges: (2) shoplifting; a public drunk; a DUI to first degree with careless driving and possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II narcotic.
University police responded to the following incidents: a moving violation per improper equipment and a suspended driver’s license at Library Annex, a suspicious vehicle at Kincannon lot, and a suspicious vehicle at Campus Walk.
Oxford Fire Department has had no emergency calls yesterday.
