Oxford Crime Report: Thursday, February 5
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six suspicious activities, four alarms, three welfare concerns, three disturbances, two lost properties, two simple assaults, two malicious mischief, a careless driving, and a trespassing.
Oxford police investigated two wrecks, issued 62 traffic citations and made 11 arrests on the following charges: (2) public intoxication; a failure to dim headlights with DUI; a careless driving with no car insurance and a DUI; a careless driving with a DUI; a malicious mischief; a shoplifting; a domestic violence; a driving with no headlights, a suspended driver’s license and a possession of drug paraphernalia; a driving with no seatbelt nor car insurance and with a suspended driver’s license and a DUI; a driving with no seatbelt nor driver’s license nor car insurance.
University police responded to the following incidents: a moving violation per no car tag at the University Museum, a justice court warrant sent to the UPD office, a possession of drug paraphernalia at Stockard Hall, an intoxicated person at Stockard Hall, a vehicle wreck on Poole Drive, a harassment report filed at UPD office, and a service call for an ambulance at Barnard Hall.
Oxford Fire Department received no emergency calls.
