Oxford Crime Report for Tuesday, February 3
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four careless driving, two alarms, two suspicious activities, an ambulance assist, a fire department assist, a motorist assist, a minor in possession of alcohol, an 911 hang up call, a shoplifting, a lost property, a disturbance and an improper parking.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 78 traffic citations and made six arrests on the following charges: (3) possession of drug paraphernalia; a speeding with no insurance and with possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle; a speeding with possession of drug paraphernalia; and a seatbelt violation with no insurance and a suspended driver’s license with a DUI.
University police responded to the following incidents: a wreck at Kincannon parking lot, and a service call for an ambulance at the Union.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: a dumpster fire at Chaney’s Pharmacy that was extinguished by the fire department.
