Paul Finebaum to Speak at University of Mississippi Law School Graduation
Paul Finebaum wrote an infamous post on AL.com July 2009 in which the phrase “SEC’s lovable little fuzzball” was a backhanded compliment. A gag gift was even created in wake of his criticism. But time does heal wounds, apparently, because he will be the speaker at University of Mississippi’s Law School graduation ceremony this May.
The university announced this with its law school’s website on its schedule for the graduation ceremony on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Paul Finebaum will once again be in the Grove as the law school ceremony is there just across from the Alumni House at Yerby Center.
In light of his scathing words years ago Finebaum changed his tune about University of Mississippi when he came to the Grove with SEC Nation last October for its homecoming game against Tennessee Volunteers. There Finebaum tweeted his enjoyment of Oxford from being gifted a child’s Landshark drawing to posing with the bedazzled Rebelettes.
How cool to watch the sun rise on a glorious fall morning in Oxford, one of the prettiest places anywhere. Hotty Toddy.

I just canceled my airline reservations. No way I’m ever leaving Oxford. Hotty Toddy for life.

Finebaum doesn’t have any personal connections to Ole Miss since he grew up in Tennessee and was a Vols student before graduating with a degree in political science. Perhaps it was The Network that brought him here?
Jokes aside, he is yet another example of former Rebel cornerback Senquez Golson’s quote: “If you don’t want to go to Ole Miss, you better not take the visit.”
And he did endure karma with the scathing phone call from a Phyllis from Mulga, Alabama. This was after Ole Miss upset Bama last October.
Hotty Toddy!
