Any progress is good progress.. Thank you God

After Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell took a hard fall at the end of the Auburn game, Rebel nation has been anxiously awaiting the sophomore’s recovery and eventual return to the field — and the wait is getting shorter.

Screen Shot 2015-01-22 at 8.39.47 AMTreadwell posted this video to Instagram Wednesday afternoon of his slow but steady progression away from the cast and back to the gym. Since posting, the video has received more than 3,200 likes in support of Treadwell’s progress and comments filled with puns and well-wishes.

“Looks like you can ‘tread well!!’ Ha ha! Can’t wait to see you playing again! Proud of you! Go Rebs!”

“This made my day! Great to see you’re well on your way.”

Since beginning his rehabilitation, Treadwell has posted multiple photos and videos of himself and teammates in the practice facilities, including a video since deleted of a one-handed catch and a shot under the “Win the Day” banner captioned simply “Patience.”

Well, Rebels, it’s a long stretch of basketball and baseball until August, but maybe we’ll catch a glimpse of the progress at the Grove Bowl.
