For the Rebels, the outcome of the Peach Bowl could potentially influence their final 2014 ranking by as many as 7 positions, so there is a great deal at stake. In order to end the season with a Top 10 finish, a victory is imperative.
Analyzing the Mississippi State position, it’s difficult to advance when you’re playing a team ranked 5 spots back of you. However, even an L should keep the Bulldogs in the final Top 10 with two of their losses to Top 9 teams.
