Will Buying Last-Minute Peach Bowl Tickets Break the Bank?
The Peach Bowl against TCU’s Horned Frogs in Atlanta is happening in less than a week. For those of y’all who are a little wealthier after Christmas and itching for a spontaneous road trip, we at HottyToddy.com took a look at the current ticket prices.
The Peach Bowl has been named fifth in most expensive post-season ticket prices.
The Georgia Dome is one of the last iconic bowl-style venues with the capacity of approximately 94,392 with three seating levels. The first level is closest to the ground. Sections 111-120 puts y’all at field level right behind the home team sideline. They go up to row 34. The prime seating sections are 114-117 and 134-137. Sections 104-107 and 124-127 are in the endzones and go up to Row 36.
The second level is a little higher with sections 217-226 and 244-251 considered as club seating. The last level is the upper deck of the stadium with sections 304-317 and 330-339 as the most inexpensive seats in the stadium. Sections 346-349 can be prime seats as they are nearest the 50-yard line.
StubHub.com has its cheapest tickets (outside of the FanFest group ticket purchases of $9 to $11) in the third level starting at $37.35. The most expensive ticket package offered on that site is $11,702.91 for mezzanine endzone 236 row 1 with the quantity of one to six tickets. Thankfully that price is sort of an outlier in the high-priced tickets listing. After the $11 grand ticket are those for Verizon wireless club located in the second level with the prices ranging from $765 to $325.
TicketMaster.com is down to only two packages for the Peach Bowl.
However TicketCity.com offers many tickets like the StubHub with its low price range being $31 for third level seating in the corner of the Georgia Dome. Those with a little money to burn can get a quality purchase on the Ole Miss side of the Georgia Dome in level one, section 134 by the football field in between the 40 and 30 yard lines.
There many other venues available as seen by a Google search of “Peach Bowl tickets 2014.”
