Reginald Brownlee – Aggravated Domestic Violence
On Monday, Dec. 22, officers of the Oxford police department responded to a disturbance. On scene it was determined that a domestic assault had occurred and at one point the suspect choked the victim. Reginald Brownlee, 19 of Indianola, Mississippi, was later located and arrested for Domestic Violence – Aggravated Assault. Brownlee was given a bond of $5,000.
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: 9 suspicious activities, three welfare concerns, two reported frauds, a civil matter, an improper parking, a disturbance, a trespassing, a recovered property, a careless driving, a littering, and a house burglary at Davis Drive.
Oxford police investigated three wrecks, issued 13 traffic citations and made five arrests on the following charges: a warrant served, a public intoxication, a driving without a driver’s license, a careless driving with no car insurance but with DUI, and a giving false information to a police officer.
University police responded to the following incident: a vehicle stop on University Avenue.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls: an issue with a pull station fire alarm at Van Buren Condos, and a cancelled call for a wreck at 181 Highway 334.
