Daily Crime Report: Wednesday, Dec. 17
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five suspicious activities, four disturbances, three animal assists, two malicious mischief, two alarms, two improper parkings, an 911 hang up call, a code violation, a recovered property, and a shoplifting.
Oxford police investigated two wrecks, issued 26 traffic citations, and made four arrests on the following charges: a warrant served, a careless driving with a suspended driver’s license and DUI, a careless driving with no car insurance and DUI, and a careless driving with DUI.
University police did not have any incidents occur on campus.
Oxford Fire Dept. responded to the following calls: a hot water heater ruptured to which the fire dept. turned off the gas to the water heater at 1609 Johnson Ave., and a cancelled call by University Fire Dept. at Coulter Hall.
