Oxford Daily Crime Report: Tuesday, Dec. 9
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: three alarms, two identity thefts, two petit larcenies, two suspicious vehicles, a suspicious activity, an ambulance assist, a welfare concern, a disturbance, a lost property, an animal running at large, a residential burglary at 2400 Anderson Road, and an auto-burglary at 400 Highway 6 West.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 22 traffic citations, and made one arrest for domestic violence per simple assault.
University police responded to the following incidents: a larceny at Natural Products Center, a traffic detail at Chucky Mullins Drive, a vandalism at Crosby Hall, a petit larceny at J.D. Williams Library, an armed robbery on Rebel Drive, and an accidental hit and run at South Lot.
Oxford Fire Dept. responded to the following calls: a blown transformer fuse at Highway 314 around Delta Steak Company, and two smoke detector malfunctions at Lamar Hall.
