Oxford Daily Crime Report: Monday, Dec. 8
Oxford police responded to the following incidents: four noise complaints, three ambulance assists, two 911 hang up calls, two shoplifting, two frauds, an alarm, a careless driving, a civil matter, a recovered property, a code violation, an animal assist, and some harassing phone calls.
Oxford police investigated seven wrecks, issued 14 traffic citations, and made four arrests on the following charges: a disorderly conduct, a DUI, a warrant served, and a driving with no seat belt, no driver’s license and no car insurance.
University police responded to the following incidents: a vandalism at Crosby Hall, a petit larceny at J.D. Williams Library, a motor vehicle accident at Tad Smith Coliseum, a motor vehicle accident at Overby Center, a traffic detail at Chucky Mullins Drive, and an accidental hit and run on Sorority Row.
Oxford Fire Dept. responded to a following call: a smoke detector malfunction at Baptist Memorial Hospital.
