Northwest Offers Christmas Tour of Historical Holly Springs Homes
The Division of Continuing Education is offering a holiday trip to Holly Spring’s 26th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes, the sole fund-raising event for the Marshall County Historical Museum. The trip is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The fee for the trip is $50 and the deadline to register is Dec. 1.
“Twelve homes and historic properties will be available for tours and we will visit as many as times allows,” said Pam Wooten, coordinator of Continuing Education.
Additional events will be available on the square and at local churches. Events in recent years have included a Christmas Gifts Bazaar and Local Craftsmen Holiday Market.
All proceeds go toward the museum’s future programs and enhanced exhibits, which feature three floors of artifacts relating to the layers of history unique to Marshall County.
Wooten said that the fee does not include lunch, but there are lunches available at one of the historical churches on the tour.
For more information, contact Wooten at 662-562-3349 or email pwooten@northwestms.edu.
