UM Associated Student Body Hosts "Rebel Day"
The University of Mississippi was founded 166 years ago today. The university’s Associated Student Body planned a special day today to celebrate: Rebel Day.
ASB president Davis Rogers tweeted last Wednesday: “#RebelDay is a school-spirit boosting event that will highlight student organizations & promote student involvement on campus!”
Here is a poster of all events that will be held today:
Everybody’s Tent served Chic-fil-a breakfast and will serve Newks for lunch soon in the Grove near Union Plaza. The ROTC began its raffle at 8 a.m. and will go on until 5 p.m. where the announced winner will pull the cannon at this weekend’s game. The university’s Gospel Choir will perform at the Union Unplugged in the Union Plaza for all to enjoy from the Union steps to the Grove. The athletes will come to the Grove at noon and will greet everyone until 1 p.m. The Student Activities Association will then host a movie tonight in the Grove at 7 p.m.
It is a good day to be a Rebel!
