Ole Miss Soccer Hosts Tennessee Thursday in Final Season Match

On Thursday the Ole Miss soccer teams regular season comes to a close as they host Tennessee. The match will begin at 7 p.m., on senior night at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.
Senior goalkeeper Kelly McCormick will be honored before the match as the lone senior. She has rewritten the record books at Ole Miss taking over the top spot in goalkeeper wins (42), saves (292), minutes in goal (6,732) and is tied for first in shutouts (22) during her four-year career.
The Rebels come into this match with an overall record 8-5-5 and 3-3-4 in the SEC. Last week, Ole Miss had a 3-3 draw against No.21 Missouri and a win on the road at Vanderbilt by the score of 2-1.
Coach Matt Mott said during his Monday press conference that the match between the Vols and the Rebels are for the last spot in the SEC Tournament, which starts next Monday. Ole Miss can advance to the conference tournament with a win or a draw, but a loss will bring there season to an end.
Tennessee (8-9-1, 3-6-1 SEC) will be coming into Oxford after a 3-0 victory over No. 21 Missouri and falling to No. 8 Florida at home on Friday night.
The Vols are lead in scoring by Hannah Wilkinson who has six goals and two assists for a team-leading 14 points.
